monki style

So as it's a new year, and I wrote about trying to figure out a little bit more about what makes me happy, I thought I would start sharing little bits about me and things that I like and find inspiring, as well as the usual family adventure related ramblings.

Because believe it or not I was a young fashion interested something before I became and mumsy frump (actually don't think I've ever got that bad...), and I'm trying to regain some of my style! So I thought I would share a few of my wish lists, new finds and loves, and perhaps some of my own treasure finds from charity shop hunts.

My sister introduced me to Monki recently, and I've been drooling over their site ever since. Monki is a Swedish brand, with concept stores over Europe, who promote ethical and environmental approach to fashion. I really love their simple, classic designs with clean lines and flattering shapes, and actually the prices are really affordable. Their sale is also really worth a look, because unlike some other main high street stores (cough topshop) the reductions are really huge for some really great pieces!
